HTC Corp on Wednesday revealed two smartphone models running Microsoft Corp’s Home windows Phone 8 software and stated the products could be obtainable in November through multiple wireless service companies all over the world.
The 2 vibrantly coloured phones - the Home windows Phone 8X and the Home windows Phone 8S - will pit HTC directly against key Microsoft partner Nokia, which earlier this year also released two colorful Home windows phone models.
Like Nokia, HTC is under more pressure than normal to create strong sales from the next round of mobile phones because it has lost significant ground to Samsung Electronics and Apple Corporation.
